A Complete List Of Free Stuff to do at the San Diego Comic Con 2017!
For those who didn’t get their Comic Con tickets in time or couldn’t afford their high cost there are other things you can do in and around the SDCC. Here is a list I compiled from a little google search engine of free stuff you can do at Comic Con this year.
First up The Petco Park Interactive Zone is free to enter with plenty of activities inside.
Don’t miss AMC’s DEADQUARTERS, the official fan zone of The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Deadat Comic-Con International. Located directly across from the Convention Center (just off 4th Ave.) and open daily Thursday-Sunday. Stop by and test your swing at the Negan Batting Cages, score a chance to meet cast members, and so much more!

The Netflix Experience
Step into the world of Netflix at the Hilton Gaslamp for a one-of-a-kind experience with a sneak peak of upcoming original films and series, exclusive giveaways, and more! Visit the Upside Down with Stranger Things, get immersed into the world of the new film Bright, and dive into the streets of New York City with the Defenders.

Nerdist Laser Tag, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
Nerdist takes over Petco Park for a game of grownup laser tag. Two teams of 25 players each go head to head in a real-life scenario inspired by the interstellar game Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Enjoy a moon-ready oxygen bar and so much more. Chris Hardwick will be playing along, and Nerdist’s Jessica Chobot will host. Note: Priority access is given to Comic-Con badge holders, but the event is open to the public. Arrive early!

Nerd HQ Dance Party
Nerds unite for a free hangout during throughout the convention, including a “Conversations for a Cause” panel series, fan-focused interactions and exclusive gaming opportunities showcasing never-before – seen titles. Expect free gaming and possible mingling opportunities with celebs, plus gameplay opportunities by SEGA. http://www.thenerdmachine.com/. Evangeline Lily, Jared Padalecki, and Adam Baldwin will sit on the panel. Jeff Bridges, Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln, Brenton Thwaites and with cast appearances by “The Walking Dead,” “The Giver,” and many more are also expected to join the panel, but note that tickets for panels are $22. The other events at NERDHQ are free.

History Channel‘s ‘On the Set With Vikings’ Experience
History Channel’s “On the Set With Vikings: An Interactive experience that treats the fans like members of the cast of the History Channel TV show “Vikings.” The experience includes a behind-the-scenes look at “Vikings” and a chance to have a starring role in your own custom video that can be shared on social media.
Open July 20-23, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. across the street from the Convention Center at 450 Second Ave.
If you’re a fan of the History Channel show, “Vikings,” or even if you’re not, check it out. It’s not every day you see Vikings in armor carrying the body of a dead warrior, and even more seldom when there’s a funeral pyre in the bay. Yes, they will be burning up a 45-foot-long Viking ship. Wonder what the AQMD has to say about that one.

Amazon Prime Presents: The TickTakeover
Every hero must face their destiny. Are you ready to face yours? Embark on a multi-room immersive experience that brings the world of The Tick to life! Cast members from truTV’s “Impractical Jokers” are throwing a big block party with a White Castle food truck, a DJ, a virtual reality experience, sumo wrestling, a mechanical bull and more. They’ll be there signing autographs and fans can watch a never-before-seen episode of the show.

Lego Ninjago Movie Set and NinJoga
Warm up for the upcoming “The LEGO NINJAGO Movie” with “ninjoga.” It’s a yoga/tai-chi-calisthenics class inspired by the movie and led by “fitness ninja” Aree Khodai. “LEGO NINJAGO” characters will also be there to meet and pose for photos with fans.

Kong: Skull Island
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Legendary invite you to experience firsthand the primordial wonders of Kong: Skull Island. The MonsterVerse comes to life as fans get to visit a Monarch Containment Zone which houses the gigantic bones of Kong’s ancestors, enter the Iwi temple to uncover the ancient secrets of Skull Island, and navigate the beast-infested jungles of the island for a close encounter with the mighty Kong himself!

The Futurism & Tech Pavilion
The Futurism & Tech Pavilion is excited to show off the latest in tech and innovation at this year’s Comic-Con. Augmented Reality takes center stage with the exclusive launch of Mira Lab’s new headset, accompanied by some exciting new content. The Laika Experience

Special Kids Day Activities: Skylanders Trap Team
What: For game lovers, Activision offers an opportunity to be among the first to play the upcoming Skylanders Trap Team.
Experience the game before anyone else at gameplay stations throughout the Gaslamp, along with special giveaways for kids who play the game (while supplies last)

Lightsaber Battle at Balboa Park:
What: Wear your costume and head over to Balboa Park by 8 p.m. Saturday to engage in the “Largest Lightsaber Battle in the Country.” This is sponsored by the Underground Lightsaber Fighters of San Diego, and it’s for all ages. You don’t need a Comic Con badge to join in this fun. ulfsandiego.com

Adult Swim at Comic-Con
“Adult Swim On the Green” will feature games, motorized animals, a tarot card reader, dart throwing, an oversized claw machine with Comic-Con-related prizes and something referred to as the “Meatwad Dome 4D Experience.”Celebrity guests will be stopping by throughout the Con and AdultSwim.com will be broadcasting some of your favorite shows live.
Open from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday at “The Green” is located behind the convention center at Fifth Avenue Landing and Convention Way and is open to anyone older than 18.
